Wattson Audio Madison Amplifier
Precision control. Musical clarity.
The Madison Amplifier brings Wattson Audio’s precision-driven design philosophy to speaker amplification in a compact, elegantly engineered stereo power amplifier. Designed in collaboration with CH Precision engineers and manufactured in Switzerland, it delivers clarity, control, and musical coherence from a chassis that practically disappears into modern listening spaces.
Built around a carefully implemented solid-state architecture, using the same bipolar transistors as CH’s flagship M10, the amplifier provides exceptional loudspeaker control while preserving timing, tonal balance, and the natural flow of music.
Everything inside the CNC milled aluminum chassis is audio. The advanced power supply occupies a separate enclosure.
Listening
The Madison presents music with composure, precision, and a strong sense of rhythmic control. Transients arrive cleanly, bass is articulate, and spatial relationships between instruments stay stable even during complex passages.
In true Swiss fashion, the Madison focuses on clarity and timing, allowing the character of the recording and upstream components to shine.
Versatile Power Amplification
By default, the Madison operates as a 50-watt, class A/B stereo power amplifier. Other modes allow it to transition to a high-current monoblock or deliver the same signal to both channels for vertical bi-amplification, enhancing dynamic control and resolution.
The result is an unusually versatile amplifier; one capable of adapting and evolving alongside the rest of your system.
